About First UMC's Children's Ministry
The children’s ministry program at First UMC - Siloam Springs is designed to provide help students (infants to fifth grade) develop a spiritual foundation that will benefit them throughout their lives.
Our events include M&M Days, P.J. & Movie Night, Vacation Bible School and Timothy Team. Each activity is geared to help students develop and nurture their faith in Jesus Christ. Most events also include an aspect of service, to teach students to help others, through their faith.

We're Looking for A Few Volunteers!
Want to be a part of the children's ministry team? We're looking for adults (and youths with supervision) who want to minister to our youngest members. Qualifications: A caring heart, a passion for Jesus, a desire to see children grow in their faith, and, of course a completed Safe Sanctuary form/process.
Our children's ministry team meets at 11:15 a.m. on the second Sunday of each month, in the Fellowship Hall.
Tasks for the CMT include helping to plan and implement upcoming activities (typically one "big" event per month) as well as our Wednesday Night Timothy Team/Tiny Tims program. Other volunteer opportunities include doing "behind the scenes" stuff like make Wal-Mart runs for supplies, make snacks or other "non-kid" things; and of course, people who will become the Children's Ministry prayer warriors.
In addition to the monthly meetings, the CMT also talks frequently by e-mail regarding upcoming events.
